 Humm Kill isn't a band; it's a mystery. Even at Jefferson Street Entertainment, we’ve never officially met any members of Humm Kill in person. Yet, when their demo landed in our hands, we knew there had never been another band like this.  

Allow us to introduce you to the dynamic duo at the heart of Jerod and the Cat: Joe Davis, the charismatic front man and adept guitarist, and Damon Mitchell, the rhythmic heartbeat and versatile drummer. 

Joe Davis, an indie rocker celebrated for his soulful yet gritty soundscapes, embarked on his musical journey as a self-taught musician. Born with an innate sense of rhythm, he found solace behind the drum kit, honing intricate beats and laying the foundation for his future musical pursuits. .

 “Cosmic cowboy meets hippie psychedelia.” That is the recent synopsis of Damon Mitchell’s signature “Beatles meets Death Cab For Cutie” sound given by a well-respected music news outlet. This artist's hook- laden, musical-wares cleverly combines influences from the past and present in a unique concoction that will undoubtedly become his signature.
