The Tuna Fish EP is an indie rock album from Illinois singer-songwriter Joe Davis, best known as the frontman of Jerod and the Cat and founder of Jefferson Street Entertainment.

Produced by indie artist and multi-instrumentalist Damon Mitchell, with executive production by longtime collaborator Robert Quick, the EP captures the quiet strength that emerges from vulnerability, love, and loss.

The title references Davis spending bath time with his young son. Tuna Fish began as a private project during a period of personal upheaval. Three years later—with the help of close friends and fellow creatives—it emerges as a heartfelt reflection on fatherhood, memory, and hope. Stripped-back arrangements and layered harmonies carry the emotional weight of a story that’s both deeply individual and universally relatable.

This isn’t just music—it’s a mission. 

100% of proceeds from the EP and its accompanying live show will benefit the N.O.W. (Nutrition on Weekends) Program of Crawford County, providing meals to local children in need.
